Kerry is back
I am back, got the modem connected and back to normality. The house is lovely.
Had a few problems with the house being brand new, firstly we had a massive water pipe burst and it flooded the whole hall, it needs to be re-plastered and psinted so the builders will do that for free.
Then I got burgled and I was upstairs in the daytime at the time on my own. I was sooo scared when I realised they had been in and they took my Playstation 2, two games and my mobile, grrr at them, they came through the patio door whilst I was upstairs, gonna keep it locked at all times now.
Anyway love the house and have missed you all

Sorry to hear about the break-in, Kerry. Not a good welcome to your new home is it?
Do you live alone, or do you have a partner? I cant remember if you told us your personal details, or remained mysterious…(you can continue to do so if you prefer!)
Glad you like the house though, and things should settle once the work is done.
Now that college is finished, we are going to get stuck in to the house here. Pedro has just finished the bathroom, and we are embarking on a major junk clear-out before tackling the girls bedroom. This needs new flooring and a complete redesign, so will keep us out of mischief for some time I expect.

Hi Jewel, I live with my fiance of 8 years, lol we are not planning on marraige, been together 9 and a half years now. He was out at the time though and I had to wait in alone for four hours, lol I couldn’t ring him as they stole my phone.
Hope you get your house sorted soon

aw Kerry sorry to hear about the break in. It is such a personal violation too. I’m very happy that they did not run into to you tho. No phone! Those buggers!
I hope you reported it & I don’t blame you for keeping the doors locked at all times. I do that too. I’d be watching everyone that comes & goes in the neighborhood & trying to figure out who did it. Must be the detective in me…. LOL

More bad luck from me,
Me and Dave have split up for good, so maybe that was a premanition Jewel…… he moved his stuff out the house Wednesday and I finished it last Friday (why I haven’t been on). He hasn’t been coming home from uni and has been staying at parties etc, so I kicked him out. We have been together almost ten years so it is a blow, but am feeling mostly ok about it……can do better I say. Have to stay in this house alone now though and am still pretty scared after the burgulary. Been going with friends and family, just sick to death of everyone telling me to smile, lol

Oh Kerry hun…. Me and my big mouth…I’ll keep it shut in future…
What is the matter with some men??????

, and have a damned good cry/yell/scream, whatever in the privacy of your own living room with no-one to watch.

I am so sorry to hear about your break-up though. You’d think they would have the decency to tell you straight to your face, instead of taking the cowardly way and just not coming home!
You probably can do better, but you certainly need some time to get over it, and frankly I wouldnt feel like bloody smiling at this point either.
So, get some new strong locks fitted on all your doors (including the patio), pour yourself a big glass of your favourite tipple, put your favourite movie on (or watch BB with me, it’s excellent mindless drivel to distract you
THEN, you can get on with the rest of your life!
Feel free to pop on here to vent at any time too.
We are all with you, hun.
lots of love xxxxxx
