It’s my birthday!
Morning everyone….
I finished my exams and assignments on Tuesday, and am celebrating my birthday today. 
Unfortunately, I have been suffering from a bout of bronchitis for the past 3 weeks, and although I finished my antibiotics on Monday, am still not feeling 100%. 
I expect I will get there, eventually.
We are going out for a meal to celebrate tomorrow night, and I am having my hair done in the afternoon. That, coupled wih a spot of retail therapy for a new outfit, should help me get better. 
I hope to be back in harness from the weekend, and will begin by upgrading the blog to 1.5.1, so if you notice any odd things happening to the site over the weekend, dont worry, they will soon be resolved -fingers crossed.
Right, I am off to enjoy my morning cappuccino, and open my cards….

Yes, I had a lovely couple of days. My hair looks smart again, (a few more blonde highlights to hide the grey…oops, what grey??
My wardrobe has now been replenished, and all the old stuff dumped. I did the same for the girls too, so we are all set for summer.
I still have a cough, and am feeling rather tired, but am slowly getting better, thank goodness. At least I dont have college work to worry about for a while….
We will be embarking on the makeover of the girls bedroom soon, so will have a lot more clearing out to do, but it will be lovely when it is finished. Going from kiddy room to cool pre-teenage pad, I hope! The girls are 12 and almost 10 now, so time for more sophistication we think…out with the dolls and teddies, and in with the laminate flooring, workstation and game cubes….

Hi Jewels,
I was just passing so thought I would drop in. Nice to be back in the Cappaccino Bar again, oh there’s my faviourite table by the window. I’m sure I left something here last time I came, an unbrella perhaps?

It was my birthday on the 11th June (i’ve stopped counting), hope you are better now.
well I will just have a cappaccino as my faviourite chair is empty….oh and a bun please….whats that…oh sorry I didn’t notice you had already brought it for me.

Yes, we are still here, although we do have to keep moving to new premises as you can see.
Think I am geting better now, although it has taken a long time to shift this infection. I blame stress and overwork in the kitchen, myself.
Many of the old staff left, and it takes a long time to train new ones. Gordon Ramsay, I feel your pain.
There are about 8 umbrellas behind the counter. I’ll just get them, and you can check if one is yours.
Dont leave it too long before popping in again, will you?
