Doing Well
![]()
Stopping in to say hello. My hands are coming along really great. In 4 to 5 months they should be better than ever. Seems like a long time, but I guess in the end it will have been worth it.
Just curious what everyone is up to lately. I hope everyone is having a great summer & one that is not as hot as it is here. Whew! 100’s or so close it may as well be. Plus the humidity. Yuckie.
Have fun whatever you’re up to.

Hi Nikki glad everything is good with you
Moving house again soon going to live at my grandads as a temp measure so I can save on rent and bills for a few months before getting my own place again at xmas, will save £700 a month, woo hoo Will move in four weeks time or so and in two weeks I go to Turkey to Dalyan and can’t wait. I have been staying away from home all week and happy in a new relationship.
I went on a Beatles tour this weekend to Liverpool and went on the Magical Mystery Tour bus and saw Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, all the houses, of Lenno, McCartney etc etc, it was fab, will get pics posted asap, it was fab …….have had a wonderful week off work and hopefully things are looking up. The move isn’t ideal as I have had my own place for such a long time and there will be no internet at my grandads, so I will be restricted to using the net at work or at my sisters for a while so there won’t be many site updates at all till at least Xmas, but I will pop in every now and then to say hello.
Take care everyone and helloooo

Wow! Kerry it does sound like you are having a great summer. Glad to hear it. Will you plan my next vacation?
Moving yuck, saving money Yay! Saving is always a good thing. No net is too bad tho when you are used to having it. Oh well, at least you have somewhere you can get online. Yes, send us a little note every now & then when you can. Oh, & some pics of your trip would be fabulous.
hugs

Hiya girls, just popping in to see how u all are. Glad to hear ur hands are coming along nicely Nikki. Just make sure u dont strain them to much typing when u shouldnt, lol.
Kerry, saving money sounds like a terrific idea. But I know what u mean about being used to having ur own place. Not having internet sounds terrible, but then again sometimes we have to make sacrifices to obtain what we want.
As for me, oh well things are getting along. Moved the bed downstairs a couple of nights ago, as the bedroom is more or less finished. He’s been down there today polishing down something on the walls, white dust everywhere. I bet the bed is covered in it as well. Typical for a man not to move it upstairs out of the way isnt it? Really p****s me off. Specially since I only changed it 2 days ago to have fresh bedlinen for the first night in the new bed

just popping in to say hello as I do a little upgrade. Have had no time at all for JWG for weeks now, it seems.
Pedro used to work at a college next door to Strawberry Fields, and my friend used to live off Penny Lane so these areas are all very familiar to me. In fact, my sister-in-law lives round the corner from Paul’s childhood home, and we stayed with her this weekend.
been a huge Beatles fam since I was 5 years old, so still enjoy going to the Beatles Story, Cavern Club etc, when going home.
been very busy with moving and redecorating as you all probably know. Looks like most of the work is finished now, thank goodness.
Just got back from a weekend away back home in Liverpool myself. Pity I wasnt there the same time as you Kerry, as I could have given you the Beatles tour myself.
We went home for my parents-in-laws’ 60th Wedding Aniversary (yes, really!). Pedro’s brother and his wife came over from the States, and a couple of other relatives joined us for a lovely weekend. We sipped champagne, went out for dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday, finishing up with cake and wine on the lawn sunday afternoon before heading home. Great stuff.
hope everyone is well. speak to you all soon.
lots of love xxxxxxx

WB Jewel! sounds like a very nice time. Congrats on the 60yr anniversary for Pedro’s parents. That is quite amazing really. I know it happens but it is rare enough to be very special too.
