Welcome to Jewels Web Graphics

I have added a new category to the JWG Links and Resources directory today, Open Source. This category contains links to software such as blogs, cms, and forums that you can install on your website.
(JWG uses theWordPress blogging software for the main site).
Open Source means the software is released free under the GNU General Public Licence, and that you are also free to make any modifications to the software that you wish. The catch? Well, there isnt one really. Many developers work on these projects in their own time, and feel they want to give their expertise freely to the community. Obviously if you are particularly taken with a piece of software, and want to show your appreciation, developers will generally welcome donations, or maybe a purchase from their Amazon Wish Lists, but this is purely voluntary. Well I think I am just about ready to get back to work after the long break. The children have been back at school since the 2nd September, my favourite summer reality tv shows, (Big Brother UK and Big Brother USA) have finished, and I have just been in to college today to register for my second year modules.
